so i was not liking having huge panels spirit gummed to my legs .. it just felt like it would eventually fall off and i was not about to deal with that ... so i came up with this ... will only need small amounts of spirit gum to adhere it to the sides

Very nice! I only worry that moving around the con the spirit gum might give way and they could fall off. Have you thought about using a strap around the back of your calf to hold it on? Could be clear plastic so it doesn't mess with the look.

Totally awesome work, Error! I'm looking forward to seeing some photos of the finished costume (zombified too, I hope), from NYCC!

That's cool so far...... And you have managed to achieve the look of the costume growing on your body.... It reminds me a bit of symbiote on spidey/venom/carnage
