WIP: SNOW-CLONE costume scratchbuild

Update: Hi I haven't had an update in a few days so here's what I did:

I put some more plaster on the dome sanded it it still isn't that smooth, but might be done by sunday.

Well I'm almost done with the arm guard, I put bondo on it, ran it across my belt sander, did that about 4 times.

Then I cut the top part out of foam board, taped it on, put on some more bondo, sanded it, put plaster on it, sanded it, put some paint on it to see where to sand it(ran out of white), and sanded it again.

It's almost done, so might finish it and mold it tonight.

PLEASE tell me what you think. Tips are welcome to tell me what looks wrong, and how to make it look better.

p.s. MODS can you please move this to the Costuming boards?

Pardon a noob question... Is this a kit or did you scratchbuild?
I remember the costume from the CN Clone Wars Episode and to me it looks pretty good so far!

Scratch build, given that's in the title, and on the other link he said he's doing it complete from scratch.

It's scratchbuilt... ...but I'll be selling some complete/kits, if your interested let me know. Oh and thank you for the encouragement!!:)

Are you using a template or making it up as you go?

Yes and no, the face-plate I drew some templates and then traced them onto matboad, cut it out, glued it, and so on....

For the dome I drew on some foamboard, cut it out, glued poster board onto it(glossing side inward), poured bondo in it, and then pealed off the posterboard and it left a nice kinda smooth surfce.

The pants I have to redo but I made a template.

Everything else is just free handed... ...sorta.
