Who Framed Roger Rabbit - Toon Revolver - WIP (Finished in Post 10)

I modeled this up the other day and wanted to share. I've only got the handle section printed so far, but I'm really liking how it looks. It's definitely gonna be a beast when it's finished. I thought it would make a fun addition to my "Movie Gun" collection. Let me know what you think.

I’m still relatively new to 3D printing, so there may be better techniques, but I basically just fill in any defects (usually from support removal), sand, prime (with Dupli-Color Filler Primer), sand, prime. That’s where it’s at in the last pictures, but I’ll hit it with 3000 grit again before painting. I’m resin printing so the print lines weren’t too bad to begin with, though there ended up being some warping on the underside of the barrel that I had to deal with. I’d be up for selling the files for anyone interested.

You have more than three fingers opposite your thumb…so it won’t fit

Amazing build! Some of the photos look like they are right out of a cartoon, even when you're holding it.

Wow that is by far the most accurate model of the pistol I've seen. I love the nice rounded grip and the almost kidney ben shape of the hammer.
An amazing design, and the finished prop looks gorgeous.
I'm printing the bullets from myminifactory but the gun models I've found aren't quite right - they lack the cartoon curves you captured so well
So Good. I would love to buy the STL files off you if you're up for sharing them - just for a single personal print, not for resale or anything.
