Absolutely amazing! I was blown away when I opened it

Funny, on Friday night I thought about starting on the case for it, but decided to hold off until I had it in hand, so I could scale the case off the gun.
Then low and behold, it was delivered on Saturday.

I'm very pleased with it, went ahead and ordered the hardware for the case last night and then did a quick engraved plaque today (in the event the case gets put on hold for a while).

That’s the plan. For what I have in my head, the majority should be rather straight forward, only needing to cut a half mortise for the lock, which I’ll probably mill. I plan to make a foam insert in layers and multiple pieces to make cutting each recess easier, it will be trial and error, same goes for the velvet lining. Still not sure on the top logo, but got some ideas and it will be one of the last things (would like to do a light engraving and paint fill some parts to give it more depth, but that’s just an idea, may not work out).
