Sword guns, eh?

Only thing that leaps to mind is Captain Harlock's. Or the pirate swords from "(How) To Kill a Mockingbird," which are guns, I mean laser swords, that have guns on them, that shoot other swords. But you have to ride on a burning shark to look really cool using it. Of course there are real-world pistol swords, including my favorite, the cutlass pistol: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pistol_sword#mediaviewer/File:Elgin_cutlass_pistol.jpg

That's a cute one. Be a natural for MDF if you don't mind a little weakness. Of course, me, I'd love to water-jet it out of metal but...

(Wasn't gonna comment on the design, but...assuming that's a side-loader, that's not a lot of metal between grip and blade. And that's a really narrow barrel, plus means you are drilling a hole right through the spine of the blade....)

I spent a while back trying to figure it out, but decided there isn't really enough space for the amount of servos needed. That being said, where there's a will, there's a way
whooo!! that would be a challange but i will try my best to find out the mechanisim
