Hi there,
I have been wanting to do the Calico based mangalore machine gun from the airport scene for a long while!
however, I can't find any good refs for some reason, even knowing the name of the actress, you can't find good quality pics online.
I was wondering if anyone here has 4k screencaps from that scene or good refs please :)

this is basically the best ref I have and it is really tiny!

for some reason, i don't have the bluray or the 4k disk of the movie even though this is my favorite movie! but on top of that, I don't have anything to take 4k snapshopts even if I had the disk.

that would be super cool if anyone could help!
on top of this, this would be a super easy conversion kit to do for me if people were interested (if we had refs), there are casts of the base gun available and the added parts are easy to do, so that would be cool if we could make this happen :) In any case, I'll do one for me for sure ;-)

thanks all!

I have the 4k file on my computer and these were the best I could find. The colors are muted on the screen caps due to the HDR.

Hope they help.

thank you!!! yes, this helps so much already, details are much better :)
thank you so much :)
I was going through the DVD but this is very poor quality.

If anyone has other good quality screen caps or more images, please still feel free to share, more is always better when it comes to references!
Too bad we don't have a behind the scene or a Propstore sale for this prop!

thank you again ;-)

Gosh, I wonder what is going on here:

I really don't like reproducing things that I don't understand. There seem to be a lot of cool details going on here but I'm really not sure what I'm looking at!
same with that part in the back, looks like some kind of round clamp with screws around it, very cool! but not seing the back or clearer photos, it's really hard to know what is going on exactly!

don't get me wrong, the 4K pics are awesome already, this is a game changer from what I had!

Yep, this piece is a head-scratcher:unsure: Eager to see what you'll do next(y)(y)

thank you joberg :)
I need to ask for more help with the screen-caps, I have made my own poor quality screen-caps from the DVD, and I think there are a few frames at the begining of the scene when she takes the gun from behind her partner's back, were we can see the back of the clamp part a bit more, I think the 4K version would help understanding what is going on :)
if anyone can help, thank you so much :)

I also realized after looking at the new pics that the "tape measure" weird part from above is only on one side of the gun! I assumed it was symetrical but it doesn't seem to be.

any additional refs and good quality screencaps are more than welcomed! thank you all for your help :)

Here are a few more pics. Not super clear though.

hey there, I actually have a small update for this future project. I was in touch with morganthirteen at least 3 years ago for the casts of the Calico base gun for this project, it was difficult to send internationally. We have finally been able to ship those and I received them. The box was opened and checked by customs but for once, they didn't damage the stuff!
Shawn did an awesome job with the casts! so this will be a great base for this project (and for the SW Ep1 Naboo blaster)

Wow from the picture those casts look really clean! I've wanted to get one of the Calico pistols (not sure if this is the same) to make the gun from I Come In Peace.

It is the same weapon used for the I COME IN PEACE pistol. The only exterior visual difference on the pistols used for that film (and the T2 plasma rifle) is different looking selector switches.
