I take Transformers for what it was: a nostalgic popcorn entertainment into my childhood. I was aware of it and left my brain in the jar. And I do watch some movies with rewatching values like "Class Action" with Gene Hackman. I'm not ashamed to admit that, I have the steelbook editions of Transformers 1-3.

Solo. I got your opinion. But you used no examples. Only stated your opinion as fact. However. Furthering on I can see long posts and no resolve so I wont ask for backing as I doubt weed reach a medium lol

I felt Transformers had steak potential, but regrettably they turned it into bologna. It is what it is.

You're right that we won't see eye to eye on this one. I can try to explain myself, but the bottom line is that you like the film and I loathe it with every fiber of my being. I could cite to plenty of examples, but...you probably just wouldn't care. For what it's worth, I felt similarly about ID4 and have faced years of people saying "What?! It's a fun film!" when all I see is sneering contempt for the audience coming from the filmmakers.

ID4 was shorthand for Independence day with will smith. It was slapped all over the toys and some of the dvds. I liked the movie for what it was but i had nearly all the toys. wish i hadn't given them away now lol.
