What's the Best Budget 3d Printer?

As mentioned, the ENDER 3 is a good choice for the money and simplicity of set up and use.
It is a partially assembled kit at delivery, but acquiring the experience of a ''complete build'' is priceless.
If you go this route, don't leave anything to chance.
It is good to check over everything to be sure all parts are there and go though the full procedure of assembly
even on the pre-assembled portion.
When the printer is partially assemble at the factory, they are more concerned about getting all the part to the
buyer and not about proper calibration and set up at that time. That would be the job of the user :)
Of course, I can't speak for other printers only the ones I have, and use very frequently....

I’ve got a Prusa Mk3 and love the hell out of it. Bought the kit form because of the significant cost difference. Took about 7 hours to assemble and printed great immediately. The instructions were super detailed and easy to follow.

Very true! Calibration is key especially with bed leveling.
The Ender3 is my first printer, took me about 45 minutes to put together, paid close attention to bed leveling and was printing about 30 minutes after that. I have had nothing but perfect prints thus far after 2 spools of Warhorse PLA+ and about 50+ parts, half of which have been 100% fill.
Already eyeing the CR-10, and maybe a formlabs after we get into the new house.
