What's on your workbench? (no Star Wars, Marvel or DC stuff)

Finally got a coat of primer onto my Fine Molds Slave I!

Re: What's on your workbench?

I'm not sure if this counts, but I'm currently working on my degassing chamber. So far it has cost me £00.00.

Not long after this is finished I'm hoping my Tron discography project will be on my workbench.

Re: What's on your workbench?

Current to last night;

Prop Table; Girlfriends TI helmet, just adding padding. Set of F/X sand trooper calves I was adding shims to, and a Jodo Kast helmet.

Model Bench; New airfix 1/72 P-40B that I'm sanding some putty down on. Tex Hill's P-40E from AMTech that I'm wrapping Decals up on.

Paint bench; Old P-40B from Frog built as a companion to the new guy.

Re: What's on your workbench?

Matt, I'm loving the las pistol. I may need one to compliment my lasgun.

I've got a few irons in the fire right now. First, there's the M9 Tempest SMG from Mass Effect 2:

I'm about halfway done with the master, so I'll be molding this bad boy sometime next week. Read more here: http://www.therpf.com/f9/mass-effect-2-m9-tempest-111468/

I've also started hacking up one of my Halo 3 Assault Rifles so I can add lights and whatnot:

I'm continuing to tinker with my builds for all four members of Delta Squad from Republic Commando. Here's my Scorch helmet all painted up:

More on them here: http://www.therpf.com/f24/worlds-slowest-republic-commando-build-84904/

Work has slowed down on my vacformed, lifesize 40k Space Marine armor based on the latest video game version:

I'm optimistic that I'll be able to have one of those walking around either late this month or early next month. You can read up on it here: http://www.therpf.com/f24/vacformed-warhammer-40k-space-marine-armor-122015/

I've also been going nuts making display stands for my helmet collection:

I've got a thread going in the junkyard if you'd like your own display stands. It's here: http://www.therpf.com/f13/helmet-di...ial-cog-now-offering-mando-skulls-too-126756/

Other than that, the past couple of weeks have been overwhelmed by holiday madness and boat problems. You can read about the boat problems in my blog: When My Brain Leaks, the Drops Drip Here. if you're really interested.

Re: What's on your workbench?

Nice stands for the helmets but stop having fun with them and the guns and get back to the armor :)

I upgraded the vacuum pump on my vacforming table last month and managed to cave in the forming surface. I need to replace it before I can make any more significant progress on the Space Marine armor.

In the meantime, I'm working on other things too...

blaintently a Games workshop terminator. look forward to seeing the finished item. Were did you get the plans for it? or did you make em yourself?

Re: What's on your workbench?

I just finished a facehugger for a local store that wants some of me "weird stuff" on display.
