What is your 'grail' and do you own it?

I would love to walk out into my back yard and climb the boarding ramp of my very own 1:1 scale Millennium Falcon! ... and if I ever win the lottery, the Falcon will be mine...

Way to think small dude! Why does everyone want to put in their backyard, exposed to the elements? If I won the lottery I'd put it in a warehouse with a full scale Death Star hanger set built around it (and some of the adjacent hallways for all the full scale character displays).:facepalm

Although I really don't have a "grail" prop I want more than anything, if I won the lottery, I'd probably buy EVERYTHING.:lol

My "holy grails" right now don't really exist anymore or can't be found. I'm a huge fan of lightsaber props from the Star Wars Saga - and the best I could hope for someday would be an all real parts Obi Wan Kenobi Saber, with the grenade, balance pipe, everything...or a machined accurate stunt (graflex flash or a lathed v2) with a blade you could screw in and fight with, just like the actors back then. so...no.

Mine are the Hellrasier puzzle boxes, I own the ones I've made, but I also just got a Bladerunner Film Trailer from 30 years ago. I guess the trailer isn't a prop but it's still a grail to me.

To be quite honest, I don't have a Grail. if I did, someone would walk right by and take it from me. or demand it from me or threaten to get it someway through me... my life. but If there was something I would want as my grail, I would have to say. the Back To The Future Delorean. hands down. but it's impossible. I can't save up because everyone is grabbing my pay faster then I can make it..

I do own my grail...Ilia's Class A Starfleet uniform....but it's not a prop :p

The casting of Persis Khambatta's head for the Ilia probe in Trek:Motion Picture is sort of a prop......

I don't own it, but did find it after much research - it is not for sale at this time...so I wait....

My main "Grail" (which is realistic) is the series 70 1911 Colt that Dean Winchester carries on Supernatural. I don't own this yet, but hopefully sometime in the next few months I will have the first piece - the actual 45.

The second unrealistic one is a working replica of the Halo Reach DMR, but I'd settle for a accurate plastic/resin replica...

Mine would be The Landmaster from Damnation Alley, a Barris Batmobile replica, and a B9 Robot. There are others, but these are my go-to grails.

I definately have a few grails in my Dark Knight viral collection

In no particular order
1) Joker bowling ball was one of only 19 handed out and mine is the complete package
2)Gotham Novelties package was only handed out to celebs. I only know of 1 other person that has one.
3) "Dork Knight" trailer. I believe only 13 of these were handed out worldwide. Took about 4 years to track someone down and that would sell.
4) Well, that is the final piece of the puzzle and I've finally been able to track 1 down.

Mine is a JP Jeep. Like other car builds so far I have the plate. With the rerelease coming up next year I think it's a good goal to work towards. Shouldn't be much of a problem if I just finish one of the many projects I have going and stop blowing money on new projects.

Put me down if anyone ever does a run of real Dinosaurs! :eek:lol:thumbsup

ME TOO!! :lol

I thought of another one that I probably won't have for another 5 years at least, unlike my first post which I will have (the 1911 COLT .45 Dean carries in Supernatural) by March 2013. So I suppose my real "Grail" is either a black 4-door 1967 Chevrolet Impala (screen accurate to the Impala on Supernatural), or I would absolutely love a 1:1 replica of Clark Kent/Kal-El's spaceship from Smallville.

My Terminator Grail , just how I imagined a damaged T800 would look and not some shiny chrome PG-13 version....

If I could just find the Hunter Killer Tank Maquette I could die a happy man.

My Holy Grail, the thing I've always wanted for decades, is a full-scale X-Wing fighter.

Someday, with enough foamies and glue . . . . . .

;)
