What’s Everyone Working on During C19 Quarantine?

Whoa! Where did you get the K2 head? Would love to know more about it.
THX. I 3D printed it a while ago. It took me a while and many trials to get the eyes as I wanted.

i started scale modelling again!, 1/35 takom MK IV Male world war 1 tank.
i opened up all the vision slots which were molded shut, also added aber's gun barrels brass and aluminium which were way better than the kit parts
The main cannons even have rifled barrels, how the ****?
waiting on some balsa to replace the shoddy kit supplied anti ditching beam on the back.
the kit has "issues", i had to trim off some bolt detail on the rear inner faces as they fouled on other bolts, the side sponsons really are a pain,
the main gun assembly just would not sit as intended so i just hacked off the mounts and glued them in place, there is no way it could work with the way it had been engineered.
i intend to do a diorama with a little difference.......

I haven't been affected so far. We have slowed down a little and my guys are at 4 days a week for now.

My neck hasn't gotten better since my car accident just before Thanksgiving. Turns out I have a herniated disk. I'm still on light duty. It sucks. I want to work again and get away from the desk. I need to clean up my shop so I can begin some small part projects.

Stay safe everyone, please!

Been working on building my Greedo Killer scope bracket and other parts.

Made a Transcriptors pulley, for fun, too! I already had the 1" stock in the lathe, so I figured why not?

I've also been working with the AK47s I inherited from my best friend, who died a few weeks ago.

Star Wars related, I just finished up two full sets of Mandalorian episode 1-3 armor. Too many photos to post here but they are on my Facebook “Jackson Rupert” in a public album if anyone wants to check those out. Also have the final two Mandalorian helmets I’ll be painting being prepped. Shooting clear coat tomorrow I think.

I also took some time to sit down and play in Zbrush. First time in a while! I’m having this guy SLA printed “Thanos sized” and will be molding to make a few resin copies.

Currently rummaging through my pops roll top "junk drawer" for random doodads/greeblies to make a blade plug.
Undecided if I want one illuminated with a TCSS base, or static chunk of 1" aluminum...

This is all I can do until I receive my next batch of goodies from TCSS. Also debating on a low profile switchbox from one replicas...

Still working from home

, but dusted of but got out an unfinished project, 3D printed some lens moulds in PETG+ filament and then heated up some clear PETG to make the lens covers. Glued it all up and fitting lights this weekend. It's going to sit behind me for all the daily work video sessions. See who works out what it is :)

Well, it just seemed cruel to keep them apart during quarantine...

Office is closed so trying to work from home while my wife homeschools the kids, super productive for all involved. I anticipated all this extra time for prop work just getting my commute time back (have a half finished TFA Graflex, Death Star Detention Cameras and Red 5 helmet all sitting on my workbench) but family projects seem to be taking over (new dining table, swings for the kiddos, DNS blocker for the home network). Did come up with the time to make this guy out of scraps from some of those projects with my daughter though, she’s a big Wall-E fan.

Hope you’re all doing well and staying healthy!

Ok static blade plug tinkering continues...

Threaded the stub from the back, used my vice to press a t-bolt head first into the aluminum cylinder and threaded the stub on. Grip washer for added greeblieness.
