And this glue

Hope that helps, if you buy that glue be careful its very strong and dries fast, if you get your fingers glued togheter, you may want to have an acetone bottle nearby, LOL

i just finish my duct tape dummy head, going to measure it now...

question is how much millimeter allowance did you add in the helm ??

Re: Made007 War Machine! Bondo stage done!

That helmet is awesome! Are you planning to fit all the electronics inside it or to run cables down to the body?

I used the default scale of the hd pep it fits a22" head easy

Yes my friend, im going to run cables tru the body, and if possible switches in my hands to control everything :)

Re: Made007 War Machine! Bondo stage done!

Cool! My idea is to use one of those portable battery banks to run everything and store that in the back and have a thin cable running down the neck

are you planning on switches or flex sensors in the hands?

Re: Made007 War Machine! Bondo stage done!

i have 22 1/2", do i have to rescale?? i'll just fiberglass the inside then body filler the outside...
I coat the outside with resin , when dry i coat the inside, then i add another to outside and another to inside, then when dry i add fiberglass mat from inside and coat again then when fully cured i sand a little the outside so the bondo sticks better, i think you need to rescale it just a little! maybe 10 % will do

Re: Made007 War Machine! Bondo stage done!

22 to 22 1/2 is not much of a difference...so to go 10% difference might be a lot...

Its not much different but if your going to hinge it, you shoul rescale it, from 5% to 10% because mine is very thight and my head is 22" exactly, just play with the scale as you like

Re: Made007 War Machine! Bondo stage done!

My fingers cut

That tape is just for holding them it will be removed prior to resin

Im just doing one set, im gonna mold that one to make a casting for the other hand, the only finger that changes is the thumb, is diferent for the left, so i inverted the pattern and used it for left hand

Re: Made007 War Machine! Helmet done

Did you get around to scaling the legs yet or have any idea what you might use for them?
