Re: War Machine, update 3/19/2013

Allright this is it for today
I did this as a base, im gonna smooth it and sculpt the nose shroud detail and cast it, then the details and other components will be scratchbuilt using styrene and other plastics

Re: War Machine, update 3/19/2013

Very impressive work, looking really good! Just finished my first bondo coat on that same helmet model, the fine details are pretty tricky. Definitely wanting to do a cast to wear though, it's pretty heavy. Your workspace video is crazy! How do you find anything in there? ;). Meh, just shows you've been hard at work! Keep it up!

Re: War Machine, update 3/19/2013

This saturday i get 2 weeks off my work, so i can finish pepping and fiberglassing the other leg, ill update when i do, thanks

Re: War Machine, update 3/19/2013

I am sooo jealous! Glad to be working of course, but would love the free time to make some real progress!
Have fun, can't wait to see your updates!

Actually that is a great idea! Just make sure you keep the weight on the faceplate down so you don't burn out servos or your arduino boards or power boosters like I did! :(
That is going to look awesome!

I have some dremel bits i purchased to finish my helmet i think the pic is somewhere in this thread, i will use them to take some more resin out of the face plate, the excess
