Re: War machine 1st attempt...

I couldnt wait till tomorrow..lol..so i installed the hardware to attach shoulder..its pretty simple and had lots of movement..from the last pictures i put up i had fixed my shoulders they got warped so i cut the sides and repeped(that's how you spell it?..lol) the sides and refiberglass..then added hardware to them here are some pictures I'm not going to talk about each picture they are just to see..lol..also sorry i update too much for the slightest thing..i get so excited...lol..

I got tired of working on patriot so i started on the war machine mini gun...
here's a few pieces..i measured my pvc pipes and it fits just right inside..i have to modify it a little but weres the fun if i don't..lol..like my mini gun arm..this will also be reinforce to hold the gun itself the motor and the pipes....the pep parts will be used to cover everything..

I will be taking many pictures for the mini gun...to show my work for everyone to see...I'm not good at tutotials pictures will have to do..picture tutorials..lol..

22 pages and not a single drop of bondo?.......come on!!!!

lol...right....pretty soon my friend...i feel that ifi go to bondo is another project...i need to fiberglass everything..make it functional then bondo..

and toeveryone following my thread i want to thank you for your awesome comments and wish you all fathers A HAPPY FATHERS DAY...

So i walk into my garage last night and my patriot suit is on the floor.....my helmet on the other side of garage..my torso broken..my bicep crushed...was bummed....i was happy the helmet had minor damage..that's what happens when you only resin outside its very brittle....i need to fiberglass soon before it gets messed up...i spent most of the night fixing it..i don't want to redo pep..

I'm glad it worked you can see minor cracks..

I had it on top of a thiick cardboard box to be even with the other suit for Some pictures that i too because one of my stands is bigger than others..also I used it because i resined the lower part of torso...but anyways I have fish tanks in my garage my pumps turn off at night i had just fill ed my overflow tank and it over filled wing floor and box...so out tipped over...I know I'm dumb...lol..

My first helmet pep ever got moved into the bedroom to BE OUT OF THE WAY before resining. Sure enough, , I jump outta bed in the morning and STEP RIGHT ON IT. Had the different sections already taped in place, and managed to crush and crease them all. I don't think 'pissed off' really describes enough how angry I was at myself. DUMB

Ah I definitely feel for you brother you are not alone here, this has happened to me a few times once with the first WarMachine helmet i built, not paying attention and i accidently stepped on it. You definitely get that gutting feeling, don't know if it me or if anyone has noticed but when you build something the second time round it doesn't take as long as the first...
I also had a couple of issues with my right calf and thigh, it had warped while fibreglassing so instead of spending hours heating with a heat gun to reshape the pieces i decided it would be easier to cut them out and replace it. Sure it was a pain to start but worth it in the end ;)
