Wow it does look huge, great though. Are you incorporating some sort of quick-release so you can pop it off easily at a con or wherever? Nice work!

I haven't found something yet....but i will...for now it swivels up and down side to side..so i can move it back facing down out of the way for now..i was thinking if i take it off where would i leave it or put it away if I'm at a comic con..

Sorry to hear that the minigun dropped!! Hope there are only small cracks!!

I think it looks really bad ass!!! It´s coming out really good!!!

Keep the good work!!

Thanks...i did crack a in some places really bad but i think it was those place where i didn't get fiberglass on there....but its fixable.jpg major..i was glad it didn't land on my son or my painted car in the garage even the cat..lol

Hey anyone have the ammo belt pep or one piece..i forgot who told me they had one...laellee i think it was you not sure...let me know our pm me please..I'm ready to start that piece..or pieces..lol..thank

So after i went through the pep for the ammo belt...i figure i can do that and finish next year or go the easy way and do it with cardboard......I get nice cardboard from work free...its thin and straight....
I figured what the heek..i tired my first piece it was ok i guess a little resin will make it look good..maybe Skip the bondo...dont want it to heavy...well heres my first attempt...i made a template to do others faster it took me about 30 minutes to cut, glue one box and make template..so im thinking the others should be faster...hopefully..ifigured out a way to do it faster..i dont need a few parts..i figured it out when i was putting it together..

Well here it is..
Let me know what you think..

Nice work on the ammo, I like that you can mass produce them and then pop the slots in after.

I know it doesn't look like much but after some more pieces..resin, grinding and paint it should look like an ammo belt..lol

light coat of resin the rest of the detail will be made with bondo......
..working on reinforcing top torso with square tubing because the piece of wood didn't do much to help.....
Also working on shoes..reinforcing the sides to be functional or for movement..

I've never done molding or else i would do that also..
I agree! I am making mine with Square aluminum stock and wooden dowel, then molding them in black onyx. I plan in running a large spring down each side so that the belt is flexible as my hope is to have the minigun track side to side...
Pictures someday lol!

DUDE!!!! OK, I think this every time I come to check out the thread and I am now going to say it. Because I think everyone else is thinking it. This is the most BAD A** build I have ever seen!!! You are making me want to build one now. Haha. Each new piece, part, repair, fix, change, mod, are time consuming but this thing is going to be sweet when it is finished!!!! It is ALREADY sweet as is, but to see this thing go step by step from the beginning is the coolest thing ever. I almost feel as if we have a view into the shop of Tony Stark, as he was going through the same issues. (Although they would probably have been a bit more complicated to figure out and fix.) I just want to say, keep at it. I know you have gotten frustrated along the way but keep up the good work. Don't let things get you down. I can tell you have learned from your mistakes and made much progress on your skill set, during this build.

Oh and if you EVER, EVER, EVER decide to one day get rid of this awesome piece of artwork (which you would be crazy if you did), send me a PM, call me, send the military to find me and let me know. War Machine has a place to stay with me, if he ever needs it. :D :lol

Thanks ...it means my time and effort is paying of..that's the reason i post so many pictures so people can get an idea of how its build..well..the way i build it..there's loss of ways to do it..we have other great war machines being built here that i think ill never even get close to quality work like that...but anyways thanks a lot...

Ps...you'll be the first to know if i ever have to get rid of my suit..but who doesn't need one of these in their home...lol
