WandaVision

Agnes is definitely in a separate situation than the rest of the Westview residents. Its been theorized that her mystery husband Ralph could be the real puppet master in all this with him actually being Mephisto or possibly Nightmare.
Or maybe even The Puppet Master, I recall a Ms Marvel story with him in it during the 2008 comic run where he kidnapped Carol Danvers to have in his collection of proxy clay figures.
Take note in the panel where Puppet Master says "everyobody fights at first", he could be pulling strings in the background without Wanda knowing... although I'm not 100% convinced on this theory it's just the idea of people being puppeted rang a bell.

The YouTube channel Film Theory has posited that Mephisto will NOT be the big bad of Phase 4, or even this series, based on one thing...

CHINA

Supernatural, ghosts, demons, etc, are a big no-no there. Being the 2nd largest film market by a lot, China has held a lot of sway in how MARVEL has chosen to present it's films in that country, going so far as to add 4 minutes to IRON MAN 3 featuring popular Chinese actors, & even showing Tony Stark specifically drinking milk during a time when there were fears of China's milk being tainted with mercury.

At the 2019 SDCC, Scott Derrikson, director of DOCTOR STRANGE & DOCTOR STRANGE 2, said on stage that DS2 would be closer to a straight up horror film than anything MARVEL had done before. Rumors began then that the villain would either be Mephisto or Nightmare. Then just a few months later, Derrikson left the project due to 'creative differences' & reportedly not having enough time to properly prep the film, but after the film being pushed back twice, he still didn't come back to the project & Sam Raimi was brought in to direct.

Going back to 2019, relations with the Chinese censors & worries about the box office were cited as the reasons MARVEL backed off of the original ideas. That being taken into consideration, I can see where Mephisto may be a road longer than MARVEL is willing to walk right now.

Do they get Disney+ in China? If they do, I would think a series about a person with supernatural powers that reanimates corpses would already be something that their censors would have issues with.

I think they have an out with explaining that Wanda's powers come from either her 'mutant' abilities or the Infinity Stones, & technically, Vision is a synthezoid instead of a human.

It's even you add the supernatural influence of MARVEL's version of Satan that they could balk at.

Just saw this posted elsewhere. It's a screenshot of the post credits scene from Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Notice the screen over Fury's shoulder ..

Like like he could still be keeping tabs on what's going on, or it could just be an Easter Egg for what was coming up. Thought it was cool.

Is there anyone in the comics, female character, that's known for mind control? The way Norm talked, I felt like it was someone other then Wanda. We might think it's Wanda at first, but something seemed off.

Didn't the head of S.W.O.R.D. say Vision's wishes were violated by Wanda, but his body was in pieces in their lab and seen in the cctv of Wanda breaking in to retrieve him?

Apparently his Will said that he was not to be revived. But I would say SWORD was running some sort of experiment on him since he was in pieces in the lab. They probably think of it as ”hey it’s okay, we did not revive him just dissect him”.

I’m sorry, what were we talking about again?

I thought he also wanted his body not to be used in any way, plus them dismembering his body with Wanda finding that out would partly explain her retrieving Vision.

S.W.O.R.D. and particularly the head of it, strike me as being connected to what's going on, far more than we realise.

Here's the exchange:

Hayward: Maximoff stormed our facility, stole the Vision's body, and resurrected him.
Wu: But that's in direct violation of Section 36 B of the Sokovia Accords.
Hayward: And the Vision's own living will.
Wu: He didn't want to be anyone's weapon.

I admit, I'm a little disappointed that no one pointed out that THEY WERE CLEARLY DISSECTING HIM! What reason would they have for dismantling him in a lab if they weren't attempting to reverse engineer him?!

Not to mention the fact that the SW in SWORD stands for Sentient Weapon. Also in the last episode the director guy said they changed their focus to AI recently. Clearly this guy and potentially all of SWORD are up to something.

Still wondering who this missing person that got Wu involved in this is as well.

I think it's Disney's way of slowly bringing Fox's X-men characters into their MCU universe subtly at first
