WandaVision

This is great, i've gone from:

'i think this is going to on' to,
'ok, no that's not it, it's probably this', to
'no I was right the first time', to
'uh....maybe it's part of the first part, but with something else', to
'i've got no clue where it's going.....i'm giving up trying....and i'm fine with that, it's a been a helluva ride!'

Don't think anything's ever really done this for me before. Lost was close, but you never had a clue where that was going, and thankfully this is in much more capable hands.
You are SO right. I find myself watching each episode multiple times to find things I may have missed. Texting with friends non stop about different theories we have. My wife jokes that I watch this show, and do a ton of research like I’m studying to take the Bar Exam LOL! I’m totally wrapped up in it, obsessed.

Ok so was the whole "Luke Skywalker moment" thing Elizabeth Olsen mentioned just the dude from the Xmen movie showing up? If so I was expecting it to be one of the Avengers or something. That really wasn't a big enough deal to be a Luke Skywalker moment.

I still don't get what the point of Monica shooting her outfit and saying it was changed to Kevlar. I get that they think Wanda is changing things, but I didn't get the significance. Oh and maybe I'm imagining things, but someone (Darcy I think) mentioned Capt. Marvel and Monica made a weird face or changed the subject. It looked like she was avoiding it.

It wasn't changed TO kevlar. She was WEARING kevlar when she went in. She had a bulletproof vest on when she was sucked in. Wanda changed it to appear as period-appropriate clothing. Hence why they used an 80's era drone to try to talk to her (until Director ******* decided to shoot at her in an area with tons of civilians around).

Honestly, this stuff IS addressed in the show...

As to Pietro, it IS a big deal because it is officially opening the door to bringing the X-Men into the MCU.

To be fair, I don’t think we know if that was the big Luke-ish moment or, they have something planned for the finale. Either way, it was epic. Especially if it married the X-Men catalog into the MCU

It’s now confirmed to be connecting to the next event being Multiverse with Fox’s Quicksilver show up. So I’m guessing that is how The Enternals are involved

I think there is another cameo appearance yet to come. I just recently was shown an interview with Paul Bettany where he talked about someone showing up that he had always wanted to work with and had been a great admirer of. That doesn't sound like Evan Peters to me. Not a slight on him, but it just doesn't seem to go together.

Agree 100%.

Evan Peters is just fine...but I just do t see him being an actor that Bettany has always wanted to work with.

Yup. Honestly, I'm a little disappointed that Darcy or Monica didn't point out the fact that Vision was IN PIECES in a LAB, but I'm hoping we'll get that confrontation in an episode or two. Maybe when he tries to stop Monica from having her aerospace engineer bring in this vehicle for her...

I mean, wanda is weaving bullet proof vests into bell bottoms, and reknitting walls and shattered wood and electronics; she can stick vision back together.

I also don't see why their storage/examination of vision's body would be illegal. he's a living creature/machine hybrid. they're looking at how he went together. he just didn't want to be brought back if something happened to him, and presumably the portion of the accord they cited was also about resurrection; not studying a dead body.

Woo said it straight up: Vision didn't want to be anyone's weapon.

Vision has said things very much in this vein from his inception. He dislikes violence and has deep ethical misgivings about any time he engages in combat. I am quite certain that the living will Director ******** cited would have been quite clear about what SWORD was up to when Wanda retrieved him.

Not saying they WEREN'T being hinky. But the fact that they had him and were studying him wouldn't likely be inherently against any of the accords or vision's will.

Did anyone else notice that when Wanda came out of Westview, she had her Sokovian accent back? She was in her Avengers gear too, but that makes sense. Her accent? Not so much...

It came back after the birth of the twins, too. When she was talking about how she was also a twin and she sang a lullaby to them which was supposed to be in Sokovian (according to the closed captions). There are clearly two different versions of Wanda going on: the "TV" Wanda and the "Real" Wanda.

Exactly. Her accent coming back when she was back in the real world goes in line with everything else we have seen so far.
