WandaVision

Between it's part in awakening Wanda's powers and becoming the basis for bringing Vision to life, the centricity of the mind stone to Wanda's arc is really something.
There's something weird about it to me though, a little bit of snake eating it's own tail going on.
Since Wanda's powers are probability based, it is likely that when she saw herself as the Scarlet Witch in her Mind Stone induced vision it was what set her on her path toward that reality. Ever since then she has been inadvertantly altering probability towards that destiny.
As you say it is the snake eating its own tail. It is almost a predestination paradox but I dont think we'll be getting into time travel in WandaVision, there's enough going on without the complexities of time travel to add to the mix. o_O

Not only that, but they've centered the mind stone as such a part of who Wanda is and also who Vision is that her being in love with him almost feels a little predetermined, I mean aside from the comic continuity they're taking from.

Was it ever explained how she continued to have her powers after the stone was destroyed? Are they not tied to the stone, more like made from some residual energy that can survive after its destruction?

I suppose it would be the same as any of the infinity stone powered heroes, the stone just unlocks their ability access certain forms of energy. It isnt like infinity stones were batteries and once destroyed you lose your powers.

The stones weren't technically destroyed. Thanos just reduced them from being stones down to atoms. They still physically existed, but not in any usable form.

Edit: Didn't see I was beaten to the punch :)

In the MCU, there are no longer any Infinity Stones, after Thanos destroyed them. Wouldn't that screw up time, space, reality, etc?

Nope. The stones are/were loci, focusing and channeling the attributes of those existential realms. They weren't those realms themselves. Space, time, reality, power, mind, and soul all still exist, and those beings altered/empowered by the stones still have their powers. The physical concentrated access keys were all that were destroyed -- and there's the possibility that, over a longer timeframe than the Avengers allowed, new loci would coalesce, out of a sort of cosmic pull. They were always there, and now they're not. Nature abhors a vacuum.

A possible link on how WandaVision and Dr Strange 2 could be connected. A missing book belonging to The Ancient One that possibly ends up in Agatha’s possession

I... don't know why that's a thing that needs clarifying? The Book of Cagliostro was there in Doctor Strange. It's a different book that's missing. Kaecilius ripped out the ritual, but left the book.

Pretty sure this supposed to be the Darkhold:
Also known as the Book of Sins because of its corrupting influence from its spells. The Darkhold was written billions of years ago by the Elder God, Chthon
Here's the thing, though. Have we gotten clarification as to whether Runaways is part of this same live-action universe? Or, for that matter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? The Darkhold has been in both, and I can't remember if it looked like this book.

Wasn't the missing book in that scene the one that Kaecelius and the Zealots stole at the start of the film?
It would be a great link but I'm not sure that WandaVision will make the link. Happy to proven wrong for the sake of a great piece of MCU cross pollination though.

i cant remember what happened to the darkhold book after Aos, i thought it could of been that,
or it could just be a witch spell book, the witch coven had before maybe

The Darkhold is now in the hands of a private collector.
It sold for an impressive chunk of change, $16,500 before fees.
I'm think the book Agatha has may be a different book, rather than the Darkhold. Although it could be the new "official" MCU Darkhold. Which would be a shame as I love the design of the AoS/Runaways Darkhold prop.
Which reminds me, I really need to finish my replica.
