WandaVision

I'm still thinking it could be Stewart as well, but also Jackman. Bettany was supposed to be in Les Miserables, but had to drop out.

Odds aren't great on this one, but maybe, they could go with the Fassbinder version of Magneto, since in the FOX X-MEN, he HAS been established as Quicksilver's father? He's an accomplish & well regarded actor, so he possibly would fit the bill of the clues we've heard.

"Did anyone else notice that when Wanda came out of Westview, she had her Slovakian accent back? She was in her Avengers gear too, but that makes sense. Her accent? Not so much..."

Edit: Quote function seems to have gone screwy here.

Makes sense to me that as Wanda is trying to create perfect American family sitcom style, that she would go the whole hog and try to blend in with that to the extent of trying to project herself as "normal". That also ties into the fact that despite her best efforts, she can't be "normal"

I hope it isn't Stewart as I really want his Logan portrayal to be like he said, and be the final time he plays him, as I think it was perfect for that character. Mind you I didn't want Luke Skywalker showing up in Mando either.

This may be overthinking it, but as far as Wanda's accent goes, it's been inconsistent in the films as well. It's been attributed to continuity errors, Olson's lack of acting ability, plot holes, etc, but I now think that it was Wanda trying to 'recreate' herself after her trauma, much like others use as coping mechanisms after moving into new stages in their lives.

For evidence, when her parents died, she radicalized & joined with HYDRA, seeking revenge for her parents, & was willing to give her life in experiments that would physically make her a new person. Then she loses her brother & at the end of A:AoU, her appearance was drastically different with makeup, styled hair, & just a more 'glamed up' look. Then we have the loss of her accent, that does creep back in from time to time, which to me says that it's a conscious effort on Wanda's part.

So throughout the films, we've seen her take normal, yet sometimes drastic, efforts to effectually 'move on'.

Then, she loses Vision, TWICE, she's denied revenge on Thanos, she finds out that Vision's worst nightmare could be coming true with SWORD possibly trying to resurrect Vision as a weapon, so maybe she just follows with her past patterns of 'recreating herself' to distance herself from who she was at the time of her latest trauma.

Now, all that being said, I also think that her immense level of power, desire to change things & catastrophic losses are being manipulated by someone else.

Not saying they WEREN'T being hinky. But the fact that they had him and were studying him wouldn't likely be inherently against any of the accords or vision's will.

Honestly, i think that's less of the point. She found out that people were dissecting and experimenting on someone she loved. There was no mention of his will saying he was donating his body to science either - not that that really matters to her reaction. You hear they're doing that, anyone is going to extremely upset at the situation. The difference between her and the average Joe finding out about something like this is she has more than enough ability to do something about it and make you very sorry you did it.

I definately think S.W.O.R.D has been doing some shady stuff with visions body.

Anyone else pick up in Monicas tests being blank/whited out? I am sure they are teasing her getting her Photon powers.

I am not sure wanda is the one driving the Westview bus. I think whoever is panicked and threw Pietro at her just when she and Vision were getting closer to finding out what is going on.

I agree. A friend of mine thinks her super powered kids plucked Pietro in from another universe to make their mom feel better. Which I find ultra creepy LOL

Honestly, this stuff IS addressed in the show...

Well I guess I'm just too dumb to watch this show! I mean it couldn't have been that I was watching with people that were talking and didn't hear the entire line could it? I mean that would make sense! It certainly didn't warrant that snarky of a comment.

The astrophysicist Monica is talking about is Reed Richards, right? I mean SWORD stated they were having a tough time testing astronauts. Also that “fantastic” 4 written on the whiteboard when Monica is texting her astrophysicist friend.

You're right, I apologize. You bore the brunt of frustration fomented over multiple forums and interactions.

According to the New Rockstars breakdown, in the Spanish subtitles, when Monica refers to her friend, the pronoun is in the feminine. They speculate it could be the Skrill little girl that she was playing with in Captain Marvel.

Showing that they'd become ingrained into all aspects of society. If that's the case, & you take into account her look when Carol Danvers was mentioned, I wonder if she failed to find the Skrulls a new home, so they settled here. That would lead into the Secret Invasion series that's coming.

It’s certainly possible. I don’t believe in the theory of him being too big a character to introduce on a show and not a movie. Mainly because I feel Disney seems to treat these shows as extensions to the movies. Wandavision is basically one very long movie, in scope and production.

Isn't Wanda supposed to appear in the next Dr. Strange film? Then I would expect that Dr. Strange maybe/probably appears in this show in the finale and plucks her out of Westview and puts the town right again. Benedict Cumberbatch might be the person Bettany is talking about. Have they worked together?? Just a thought.

The series is really strange.I really liked the C-64 that they used for the message from sword to visions work.
Thats so 80s! :D (y)

Speaking of Reed Richards, did anyone see this ad last night & think it could be some viral marketing for the Fantastic Four?

I mean, it's called Inspiration4, with a circle around the 4, talking about taking 4 civilians into space for the first time?

Things that make you go "hmmm".

EDIT: Here's the actual website for the mission. IDK y'all...

Tell me if I'm crazy. Lol

Looks like it's just a really weird coincidence.
