.....................WOW.........................love it dude!!!
A genius idea, followed up with fantastic execution, looks incredible.

EPIC! :p

A great job

This looks great you have a good imagination. A good imagination to see this toy on a shelf and say that looks like a plasmacaster and then have the guts to actually make that into something is spectacular. lets not forget that bio good work on that.

hay man great job on that $10 plasma caster. it looks great!
so just out of curiosity, how much did it cast total including clay, lights and electronic components?
Outstandng job! Great Work!

It was pretty cost effective really. I'd say it was between $35 or $45 once finished. That's everything from toy, clay, electronics, and even a soldering gun.

[quote name='A Hunter's Moon' post='276876' date='Feb 15 2011, 05:18 PM']Hey guys. I'm glad to say I've finally completed my plasma cannon. As you may or may not know the cannon was created from a five dollar toy gun bought at wal-mart. The plasma canister and a great many of the final details were added or sculpted by me. The finished cannon was painted to match my customized P1 Bio.

I used multiple techniques to get the final paint including stippling and dry brush work. There were a few set backs here and there but usually nothing I couldn't handle. In the end it took some time but I'm very much satisfied with the end result. Tell me what do you guys think . . .

haha, man, thats just too cool. Wish I was as creative as you with stuff like that. I have almost no creaivity with armor and weapons lmao. I still need to design Kyras gauntlets/wrist blades further than just the function. I also gotta design a shoulder cannon for her too, not just the small one hidden in her gauntlet. Anyways, keep up the great work! Would love to see more from ya!

This gun/Cannon looks absolutly great.

i newer thought about to make a cannon out from a toygun but i will give it a try myself.

love your work on it

That is amazing! So creative! From a 5 buck toy into a Plasma cannon! I will never look at Foam-dart guns the same again.

That is so cool. :)
Talk about creative, using a toy gun bought at Walmart ( or any other store ) and making a plasma cannon out of it. Should create a tutorial for others.

What RoninPred said... an arm would positively add to the overall kick-assness of this work of plastic wal-mart art.

...This Plasma Caster R-O-C-K-S!!!
