Going back to check for updates on that thread and seen 5 new people joined, guess they used a real email address otherwise you would be doing it over and over if you didn't :lol

That's true. Heres the finished Seaview.

Very impressed with the stability and control in the water. Wow.

And for Steve's next trick, this Voyager will fly around the house on impulse power!

God I hope so! But really that Seaview is the hardest submarine to make ever. I've done 4 to date. One is mine. ;)

Steve

One is mine. ;)

*Dumb sidebar anecdote dept.*
I had the Aurora model when I was a wee lad, and I took in the bathtub with me (a lot) while I looked at it under water with a swim mask on. It glided very gracefully, I thought. I always made it surface like in the movie.:love

The Seaview looks great Steve.

That's a great Seaview... make me wanna put on a monster costume & wrestle with it!:lol

Any Lost In Space monster will do, that's what most of them were. They attacked the Jupiter 2 one week, and Seaview the next :lol

So finally the Seaview done and gone. I just filled the 10 kits orders I was behind on and I can finally get to this build for awhile before the next customer build starts next week but it's a pretty simple build so I'll be able to do double duty like I usually do.

Steve

Got nailed again. A guy is having me build one of my own RC sub kits an it's a deadline again to meet the big Sub Regatta in the first week of August.

I should finish this weekend and be free once more! Thanks for checking.

Steve

I have some interesting news regarding this build coming up soon. I had no idea the Monogram model was so far off. I'm usually one to let the odd inaccuracy go but after Rob informed me of how much it was off...well hopefully he'll ring in.

Steve

I've alway's been curious as to just how much more accurate the "limited edition Voyager" was as compared to the regular edition kit.
I assumed it was the addition of clear parts and the beefed up painting instructions that were included with the limited edition and maybe some added decals that set it apart.
Have you looked at the limited kit Steve? It's the one with a painted image of the Voyager Ship on the box.
I have access to one of these kits if it would help?
