Voyager Build

Nice looking build thus far. I left off on my kit, right about where your last photo was. I got all of the parts prepped and painted for lighting and had to shelve to work on another project. I'm working on a 677 scale Equinox to go along with that kit. I had the ship rapid prototyped and have been cleaning it up and am just about ready to start adding the details to get it finished and in silicone. Can't wait to see more of your build, maybe I can learn something new.

Steve you must be Psychic, you seem to do build threads on kits I own but have yet to touch.
I'm really excited to see another step by step build for Voyager as you did with Enterprise NX-01.

Now once you've done this kit, if you could move onto the DS9 Runabout you will have covered most of the kits I have :lol

Now let the master do his work!

You guys believe this guy? He's all like "Hey I'm going to show off some pictures to get everyone excited and I'm not going to post pictures for days" pffft. Guess I'll go back to surfing for porn.

hahaha can't wait for updates.

Actually I'm working my tail feathers off on a customers 54 inch movie seaview that's radio controlled and trying to finish off my Boulton Paul Defiant so I can test fly it next week. All this so I can get some time on Voyager starting Sunday and Monday.

She should be an easy build compared to that NX-01 I did for FuseNova. ;)

I was already to star today and then my client showed up with the sound boards, observation deck and radio for his Seaview. He has a trip to take it on week after next. So I have to get it finished, trimmed and water tested in a big hurry. But I'm hoping to get some evening work done on Voyager tomorrow night.

It's been so busy here with Daedalus kits to make up, Spock ears and other orders plus the Seaview it will calm a bit in another week. But it's great to be so busy. This forum has been a huge help!

Sorry for the slow progress.

Steve

Not nearly finished yet. Windows went in today and the OR. I will do a short thread on this when done. She's 54 inches. This has been the time eater!

Verrrrry nice work, I've been thinking about a spock ear purchase would you care to show a quick picture here in the forums in the form of a shameless plug? :lol

My Son has become a BIG Voyager fan of late. I offered to do this kit for him, but when he found out how large it was, he opted for the Furuta 4.5" kit because, get this- it's closer in scale to our 1/1000 Polar Lights Enterprise!!!:wacko

Hey Steve,
I hope you will do as you have done in the past and tell all as concerns where you picked up what. I see a brass photo-etched package in there that I'd love to get for my Limited Edition Voyager Kit.
Thanks! This will be another AWESOME build I have no doubt!

Well now that I'm done with the big Seaview maybe I can get to it. Can't see the build without joining the forum. That's a shame but two forums are enough for me with my busy schedule. ;)

I forgot about that, but as with many forums some do require registration to view topics which isn't hard to do, only takes a minute and it's not like anyone has to pay anything to join.
