V For VENDETTA: The movie props

not bad but a stiffer version would show up more details.
very creative though.

Well guys, ive been working on the mold this weekend, and I have found that the plaster did not cure as well as I had anticipated, so im letting it bake for another day before i continue sanding. (which was going well.) This week will DEFINATLY allow for more time to work on it, so I can definatly expect a pull to show you guys within a few days. For those that havent PM'd me that are interested, I'll be starting a junk yard thread for the extra pulls asap. (will be around $25 unfinished)

Does anyone know of a website that would print a plastic id card like this? Because it would also be a good resource for other movie prop id cards.

ok figured somethin out. took an old store coupon card i had with a magnetic strip on back, covered the bottom half of the ack with plain glossy paper, then printed the front and glue it over the front, tada plastic ID card. Ill post pics tomarrow :D

Kylash I was sort of thinking the same thing. People could get some adhesive photo paper and an old gift card or what have you and ba-da-bing...

I imagine you could find places that would print whatever you want on a card, but you'd probably have to do it in 1000s of cards.

sorry for the delay of the pics, theyre not that great anyways though. Here it is, basically an old card with a magnetic strip sandwiched between two gloss prints with adhesive spray.

I got the Athame Knight's Dagger used in Spidey 2 and Riddick for 11.00 plus shipping.  I wasn't saying to buy six of them or to even use real knives for costuming.  It doesn't sound very smart going out with six long daggers that are indeed real.  Here double bladed knives are illegal to carry in public as is any knife over 4" in length.

As for the mirror, I think it would be easy enough to do if you had a stencil.  Don't forget, there is some kind of floral motif along the bottom.  I tried to take notice of it too.  The first time I saw it, I knew it was a prop I wanted.

Sand down and round the edges, then you're just carrying 6 letter openers :D

serial security number... go figure, lol Hmmmmmm, the new graphic there has an exp date of 12 25... the screenshot we have says 12 24, and there are a few other small differences.

Hi just saw the movie and it was GREAT ...

There was one thing I wanted to sare here. V and the police use a scammble device .......................Well I just happen to have gotten that as a present. Its is a night light :D If anyone is interested in it I can make a picture. It was around 12 euro. It is seen on screen a couple of times. It has a red light in the movie.

Greetings from the netherlands,

BasD

Well, the date may be different, but that looks much more like the original picture that was used, so I guess both versions have their strong points.

check out this thread :D

Oh sorry about that :lol
The movie is just out it the Netherlands so I am new to looking
at its props. We dutchman always are a step behind propwise :unsure

THanks for the info :thumbsup

it kind looks like the first 2 words are "This ID"

"it kind looks like the first 2 words are "This ID""

i agree....i'd say the first line is "This ID is property of BTN and must be"...i have no idea what the second line says...but i assume it's probably something about being presented when asked or carried at all times...just guesses going by context...i can't read that line at all....skott
