This is a super shiny solid surface thing. Very slick to the touch, but NOT wet or oily in a liquid way. As if the release agent mixed with the resin or something. It sands off very nicely, but I really don't want to sand every bulge & crevice on all these pieces. :crySimple Green, Super Clean (purple stuff), Transmission fluid, Dawn Dish soap are the normal degreasers used buy most resin kit builders.
Way ahead of ya- it's drying as I type.Chris. Before you go any further try a test of some primer and see if it sticks.

If the primer sticks, then you got all the release agent off.Is this some trick for resin parts? What does the primer do?

Hey- I solved my fit issue with a hair dryer & some creative sanding- no cutting necessary!:thumbsup
Yeah, the hardest part is placing the parts correctly with the glue- you only get ONE chance!:coolThat is coming along nicely!
Sanding builds up your bi&triceps. It gets rid of toxins through sweat. It teaches patience. It is meditative. It is good for the economy.Sanding is just like... a day at the beach!
No idea what that means but it sounded good.
