Looks great, I liked it a lot. It didn't reveal too much and kept me wanting more. Loved the whole period look they created, which somehow still managed to look unique.

And loved that line answered by Stanley Tucci when asked "Why Me?". And the shield catch and later the throw shot.. pretty awesome!!

Even if Chris Evans had lost weight to appear skinny (which then would again take time to bulk up for the transformation), his height would still require CG enhancement.

Yeah - this pretty much seals the deal for me. JJ was the wrong director for this movie and the trailer shows all of the shortcomings in spades. The worst part is there's just enough futurey looking gadgets to pull me away from believing this is the 40's or even the 50's. It takes more than costumes to set the mood. I want Cap running around in the same set pieces as Saving Private Ryan - or, yes, even U571 - The Japanese movie "Yamato" (not Space Battleship Yamato). These all look like sets - and I'm talking the worst kind of sets, the ones you can tell were just built last week. I don't know, maybe I'll be proven wrong - but I think we're dealing with the Hidalgo Joe Johnston - (I haven't seen Wolfman but i heard things --) Rocketeer was a long time ago.

Yep - same one - only the formula was lost after Cap so the one in the Hulk was a second attempt that they got wrong.

If I had to guess, skinny actor with digital face replacement (the way they doubled Armie Hammer as the Winklevoss twins in the Social Network - he was a separate actor who had his face replaced).

Ya know, I was all on board with Chris Evans as Cap, thought with a little work he was a perfect choice. Now, I'm not sure. Hopefully it's just that this is the first movie with Captain America, but he's just not looking like the confident, read to go hero that I'm accustomed to. Cap also seemed bigger and bulkier, while Evans is definitely in amazing physical shape the costume does seem to hang on him a bit - that's not too much of deal, but...

The costume is really starting to concern me. In some pics it looks absolutely amazing. A great WWII (super) soldier feel, very Ultimate Cap - I love that it's not spandex/rubber/typical Hollywood. In other pics it just looks baggy and out of place. ...and the helmet. The helmet. Sigh... that helmet. I think the helmet just looks like an afterthough. The covering of the ears is just a bad idea, are we going to have Captain America saying "huh? What'd you say?" "You're going to do what, Red Skull?"

The storyline? I'm not nearly as concerned about that as others around here. I understand that this is a movie, a comic book movie and well, Hydra is something that they can copyright and own and control... Nazi Germany not so much. They can build their own Marvel Movie Universe much more easily with Hydra than dealing with the politics of the Axis Powers. ...and they did mention Hitler in the trailer, too.

The new trailer looks great! I've always loved the 1940s aesthetic.

Like others have said, I wasn't sure of Cap's uniform until I saw this trailer. It looks like they're going for a hi-tech dieselpunk/Sky Captain version of WWII with the flying wings and whatnot. Reminds me of The Rocketeer - and that's awesome. :thumbsup

Natalie Dormer doesn't have the best facial features, IMO...so I can see what he's saying. I'm not sayin' she's ugly but I don't think she's a knockout. The body, however....yowza!!

Iron Man was AWESOME. Thor looks great. Captain America is looking pretty good. The Incredible Hulk was good. I wish Edward Norton was going to be in the Avengers, but I think its all adding up to be a great movie anyway. Hope Joss Whedon can pull it off.
