looks great from what ive seen from the pics, i do however agree with GEORGE C yeah this is a comic book character but why not go with the history of the folk involved , tha said it could be worse like changing real history. ever seen u571 the movie about capturing the enigma code machine.... now that realy pissed me off. that was a british sub crewed by folks from my place of birth but totaly changed to another country for the movie. this is a comic book hero so stories can alter but changing reality .......not good at all !!

I think this looks really bad. Combine an Army uniform and a homemade football outfit and have it colored by a kid and there you have this!!!. Sorry but there is nothing in that costume that looks like the "real" cap to me. Helmet looks closer to the motorcycle version for the crappy tv show then the traditional (i.e. most common) version of this costume. As bad as it was with the rubber ears the campy movie version looked better and more like Cap then this.
Might have to skip this one for my own sanity.
