The new trailer looks great! I've always loved the 1940s aesthetic.

Like others have said, I wasn't sure of Cap's uniform until I saw this trailer. It looks like they're going for a hi-tech dieselpunk/Sky Captain version of WWII with the flying wings and whatnot. Reminds me of The Rocketeer - and that's awesome. :thumbsup

Natalie Dormer doesn't have the best facial features, IMO...so I can see what he's saying. I'm not sayin' she's ugly but I don't think she's a knockout. The body, however....yowza!!

I'll have to concur with the top poster, she looks fine to me. Very cute/pretty girl... not odd at all - her facial features look great to me.

I'm not familiar with Captain America history, but did the scientist state "You can start now, Mr Stark." Is that Tony Stark's dad?

In the comics no Stark but in the movies they are using Stark Industries to tie them all together.

If you watch the Iron Man movies you can see Cap's shield, or at least a mock up of it, in various scenes. He uses one mock-up to level his collider after the SHIELD agent asks him what it is.

In the Hulk movie (the latest) Blonsky is given a version of Cap's serum (which in the comics was a one off accident lost when a fire-fight breaks out as Cap emerges from treatment...similar to what the trailer shows).

So this ties Iron Man (Stark) to both Hulk (Abomination) and Cap (helped make the serum and shield).

I know you guys are all talking about Cap's costume a lot but I have a question about Atwell's military uniform. I know nothing about WWII era military issue so...is it real? Close to real? Designed just for the film?

Iycis:Generally speaking the majority of films just go for close enough, i.e., wrong insignia, rank, etc., as you need military approval for your film in order to be 100% authentic with the uniform details which is why so many who served often gripe when someone calls someone by the wrong title in the wrong branch and little details of the uniform are always wrong.

Nah, games make use of alternate costumes all the time.

Look at the Iron Man movie games. THey bring it all kinds of stuff from the comics that aren't in the movies themselves.

Just fun to give a player choices.

I'm not too sure about that... the shield is different between the two Cap uniforms as well. So, I'm guessing they did a movie Cap and a comic Cap for the game.

I so hate that Hydra symbol in place for the swastika. I mean, i get it, but I just can't get past it. For me the movie lost so many cool factor points by not having smash the face of Nazis.

My guess is that it is longgg gone. Remember way back to the craptastic Superman Returns movie. "truth, justice, that kind of stuff"

We haven't seen what his USO costume looks like unobscured by the leather jacket. No idea what the cowl for that looks like at all. But that one will definitely be the closest to the comic book look. I'm curious if it will have the scales on the top portion.

Yeah, saw the Iron Man and Hulk stuff, but just didn't know what was 'canon' for the CA origin.

Also, is that Hugh Jackman at one point being grabbed by the collar of a suit? Kinda looks like him, and I know Wolverine and CA crossed paths.
