Think in most cases staying over at cons will depend on distance and work commitments.

Any of the London cons, no, cuz yay for living less than 30 minutes from there and good train connections.

Any that are further afield though, yes. What I've always done for cons is drive up on the Friday after work (M25 gridlock, yay), stay Friday night and Saturday night then bail out of the con at about 2pm on Sunday and drive home. That seems to work. Driving up the day of the con then driving home that evening is too tiring so yeah, it's a distance thing.

I am the same as LadyZ, live about 30 mins - 1hr out from london by car or train so no need to stay over anyway other than that will probably need to stay. But then again I drove to Alton Towers at 4 am and drove home at 12 am that night so not that much of a biggy lol

i see this topic has gone a little cold is everyone still up for a hunt this year. i have a new date to add. SATURDAY 12TH MAY - SUNDAY 13TH MAY AT THE EAST OF ENGLAND SHOW GROUND EXHIBITION HALL. PETERBOROUGH. the event is called. the Greatest show in the Galaxy. some of the guest that will be there can't wait to meet.
