My friend and I are probably going to try to go to the March event at the NEC, cuz she can't make the May Expo any more so I will be alone then, bawww. Its good having dates for some conventions now, talk about a motivator to get our arses in gear!

Haha! I've actually set myself a schedule now for making this thing. I'm beginning to pity my poor sewing machine what with the amount of work the poor sod is going to have to do over the next few months.

Now we have a few con dates we should maybe get thinking about the social meets too. Because beer is far more important than conventions!

Checked out cost of a vinyl banner, as promised. My local sign shop has quoted £50+vat for 2mtrs x 1 in 3 colours. Only a rough price and not saying we should use them, but gives us a starting point.

Hi Guys.

A couple of points that I wish to mention.

First, its fantastic that we have chosen to hunt together next year, because 2012 happens to be the 25th, yes, 25th anniversary of the film that changed all of our lives, Predator !
We could not have picked a better moment for a mass appearance. OMG, OMG, sorry, getting excited again !

And second, I do think that we need to bear in mind the temperatures that are likely around the middle of the year. We all know how demanding our costumes can be when worn for long periods. After all, we want to have a long hunt dont we ? Cooler the better ?

£50 doesn't seem too bad.

As far as mid year temperatures go, I don't see much of an issue to be honest. The guys in the US manage with temperatures far higher than we're likely to see in the UK, and most of it will be indoors anyway. You don't want to look like a wuss now, do you?
