Tsutomu Nihei's Blame! Gravitational Beam Emitter

I scratch built this on the Q&D for a pal. Gravitational Beam Emitter from Tsutomu Nihei's Manga called "Blame!". Made from laser cut and hand cut parts. A simple design. The gun varies in appearance from each issue of the manga. In the manga as the power settings increase the barrel and body segments expand and extend. I made it as it appears in the lowest setting position.

Really nice. Good work! It may not look it, but this is one of the biggest VBFGs in all of science fiction.

It's not an anime, it's a comic, BTW. You can get scanlations of it online, dunno where offhand I'm sorry, but it hardly needs English as there's very little dialogue. It's mostly just two characters drifting through a colossal, decaying, futuristic megastructure and getting into and out of various scrapes. The megastructure turns out to occupy a fair chunk of the inner solar system; this is one of those big concepts things.
