Trying to find obscure Belgian kid's show prop

Hello!
I've been looking for the origins of a setpiece/prop from a Belgian kids show for quite a while now.
In the show it's used as a transformation/teleportation capsule. It's probaby heavily modified with added greebles, but I'm just looking for the base capsule.
Google Lens thinks its some kind of boiler or old ship/diver equipment but I'm not sure about that.
Maybe someone has some idea what this could originally have been?

Just my opinion, but the metal finish and corrosion was all applied. My money is on it being a wooden cab and frame with sheathing (wood or plastic) wrapped inside and out. If you look at the cross-section of the door when it's open, it looks to me like it has a foam core skinned in sheathing with the ends quickly skimmed and painted; Nobody was really supposed to be looking at the edges of the door so why get it perfect.
