TrooperTrent Holiday Special Lightsaber Series

And I found a knurled brass lamp switch which looks like a good match for Halliwax’s 3-D printed part for the control box switch. Just need to cut it down to size and paint it aluminum. We’ll see how it goes when I receive it.

Do you have a store link to where you got the brass lamp switch?
That sounds like a good idea

Yeah same one. Amazon and Walmart.com also have them. The original ones I bought that ended up being too big were like $5 for 50 so I just included them free in the kit. Weird that the smaller ones are soo much more expensive and harder to find.

I don't think this one is that big a deal, but you can always link to an auction that's already ended, to be safe.

to prevent competition on the same auction.
It's an old rule that was put in place long ago. If I'm hoping to win an auction for a graflex flash and someone here posts the link, making it visible to everyone, then instead of getting a good deal on it, I'm now fighting with tons of RPF members. That's the thought behind it.

But for something like this where it's an ebay "store" and they have more than one available, I doubt it's likely to get pulled by the mods. I trust that they use some common sense and context when deciding what to pull and what to allow.

Awesome, I am going to throw that link up in the main page then

Thanks again guys!

That's what I meant when I said "shouldn't be a big deal", thanks for taking the words from my brain and putting them down for me, Trent!

Very strange...

My Graflite, which if you will recall, was a strange variant without the “Graflex” or “Graflite” logo stamped on the body (but on the end cap) has a cardboard tube in it. When I cut the threaded end off of the flash tube, the diameter of the tube is far too big to hold Trent’s end cap securely; however, when I employ the before-mentioned cardboard tube, it fits like a glove:

Your or alone my graflite is the same way. If you mic of the tubes the graflite is faaaar thinner.

And when you take it apart you can see it’s a much cheaply built flash compared to the graflex

The graflite tube is paper thin

It’s only minor different. I think it can be made up with e6000 ;)
