TRON toy Deluxe ID Disc. Mod./Enhancements

Seems like the disc flashes on, if you watch on youtube trailer #2 at 1:29 to 1:31. Also noticed that the disc power cycles clockwise while turned on, it looks like its counter clockwise when he throws it but I think it's just the rotation of the disc itself. Dunno if this helps any.
 
Like the reference material so far! I'd like to see pics of the lighting rig once you have it finished as this is also a prop I had been looking into making but had not yet begun.
 
Also to help out with cooling, possibly a small CPU fan within the disc if there is room? the fan may also give off the audio effect of it being powered, so kind of a double whammy. Just some thoughts
 
Hear hear to keeping costs down. I don't know of anyone who'd say "Nah, I think I'll spend MORE money on this one guys, I'm sure it'll all work out in the end."

I'm still stoked to see some final shots of it lit, it'll be one impressive display for certain.

P.S. just Voodoo is fine.
