predpaul, can't wait to see what you do with it. If its anything like your other costumes it will be amazing!

I figured that everyone here would appreciate the new desk I got...

Yeah...sorry about that.
Office Depot for both. The desk is on sale thru Saturday for $89.99 and the speakers were $14.99
Desk item number 644044
Speakers item number 550966

With the desk you can choose to display a solid color(Red, Blue or Green) or you can set it to rotate and it gives you the full spectrum of colors.
The speakers were apparently a Back-to-School item that got forgotten about in my store and we just found them a couple days ago. Not sure if any other stores still have them.

Hi there everyone! Not to bump this thread off topic, but does anyone have any ideas how to make a Tron Castor costume? I really want to have one before New years so I want the fastest way to make one (no EL wire!). And I know I made a thread for this, but I just found this one so I though it would work here too! :D

Also to whoever has that desk, VERY COOL!!!!!! :D :D

Thanks!

I want to say there was another member who had a Castor specific thread in the costume forum. It wasn't that Long ago that it was posted. If I was at home I'd search it for you.

Yeah I saw that when I joined but I cant do that since I cant sew! :(
Is there a easy way to do it with no sewing?

Hi there trekking95:)

You could always use a fabric glue if your not into sewing. I used glue for my first costumes for the same reason. It turns out not to be too hard though. I practiced on some off cuts first until I was happy that I could do it without making a complete hash of it. It just adds to the list of skills I'm clocking up since joining this forum, so I'm happy. You could always do the sewing after new years to give the seems strength of they need it, but the glue should hold well enough for new year:thumbsup

Fabric glue was going to be my suggestion as well. Although I have never used it to do a full project like that it is a good place to start.
