Trigun maximum Vash the stampede vol10 cosplay

Hey, im new to posting on the RPF but I've been on the 405th for years.

Ive been working on a super detailed version on Vash the stampede for the past few months and wanted to share my progress.



I started with the undersuit shirt. I plan to make wings as well later on and hopefully the hole will work for them to come out of.
Its moleskin spandex and pleather. The holes are boned on the sides to keep the shape.

The tube parts are eva foam coated in pleather. They magnet onto the shirt with magnet snaps.

The buttons i modelled in Onshape, resin printed and painted with spaz stix chrome, clear coated with alclad aquagloss.



Pauldron is made of pleather glued to eva foam with super 77. The metal bits are styrene.



And im still working on the pants. Theyre denim and 2-way stretch pleather. I took apart some of my own pants to make the pattern and modified it to have leather panels.



Hope to have the pants done soon so i can start adding belts to them.

Progress has been all over the place.

Ive started adding all the belts to the pants but got sidetracked by making the gun since ill need it to make the holster



Most of the belts are leather that i dyed to match the pleather of the knee cover(?)

The main waist belt will be mostly if not completely leather
The gun is mostly mdf with a few 3d printed parts. I actually plan to make 3 dif guns. (Trigun ;3 ) Punished props’ model from the 98 anime is amazing and itll be one of them but im making the manga version so this mdf one is closer to that version.
The last will be an eva foam one that i can throw around and not worry about it.

Last things ive been working on are the freaky little friends that manifest when vash is suppressing his angel arm. Love me some body horrror.
Theyre made of acrylic baubles and uv resin then painted and the skin parts are foam clay.

Ok so the entire undersuit is done.
Some more pics of the pants and belts.
Belts are all leather with 3d printed peices.
Shins are foam coated i worbla. Smoothed with bondo.

Next up is wing and coat.
