Then I moved onto the torso section

And then started detailing the chest.

Got my boots finished and the risers installed and started putting the rubber treat on the soles for those pesky slippery convention floors



And as you can see I like to put silly little nods to other genres on parts where no one will see.
These give me about a foot and a half in lift

And I got the legs all painted up

And now a full test fit before the final paint job.
Little bit of info, full suit comes to about 8 feet tall, the hands are static since my actual hands only come up to about half the length of his forearms, do they don't move and I am holding onto PVC handles I rigged up inside. I may eventually build some hand extensions I can easily swap out since I thought that far ahead and made these hands easy to remove if need be.

Only things i can see i could even possibly take issue with: careful of optimus' thighs. Also his head looks ginormous. Otherwise i am stunned.

yeah, but if you enlarge the shoulders and use stilts it may balance out. it still rocks, and the megatron is out of the world. i would love a copy of the files!!

Prime has no stilts, I built this suit for him before I started Megs. He is 6'5" and didn't want to use them, though he may bow after seeing my suit finished.
I did use stilts in Megs, I'm 5'12" and the foot and a half inch blocks I'm standing on make Megs about 8'
And guys I would love to share the files, let me do some cleaning up on them and leave them at the scale I used them for and I'll post them here this week. Been real busy of late and I'm sorry I haven't responded to those who asked sooner.

PS, to the Prime head size query, yes......its big. Both he and I are cursed with large nogins. But since I built Prime almost a year before finishing Megs I tried to use all I learned with building Prime and hopefully made it better in that dept

My son and I are going to try to build these soon as we get the files, already have materials gathered (most of them anyway) just waiting on the template files from you (with baited breath) to get started. Also, did you use a dremmel tool to etch out the detail areas?
