Transformers BumbleBee battle Mode DOTM FREEHAND Foam Build.

Your detail work is absolutely incredible!!!! Do you have future projects in the works? please say yes :)

Thanks for the compliments kind sir. Yes I have a handful of foam suits I am working on right now. Mostly Ironman though. I will try to post in the next few days some of my Work in Progress photos. :)

Holy ****...... I did censor myself. Lol.. this thing is AWESOME!!! It has been said over and over, but this is amazing work man, much respect and kudos to you kind sir!

One question, I scanned through the comments and didn't see it asked.... If so. I apologize.. but, is your head actually in the helmet? Or do you see out of another part of the suit??

yes. My head is actually in the helmet. It looks small because The technique is to make the height of the helmet shorter than your actual head. I made it only up to my lower lip. You have to wear black balaclava so that your jaw will be hidden. I see through the slits/Grill just below the Blue LED Lights. You just have to make the helmet as small as possible.

Just want to share a Quick comparison from my previous bumblebee suits Iv'e made in the past . All freehanded

Version 1 is quite off in terms of proportions. I had a hard time making this from scratch since my only reference was pics I found online. Parts were too big and heavy.

Version2 . Bought the Revoltech Bumblebee figure this time for reference. some parts are still big. whole thing weighs around 20-23 kilos. But I'm quite satisfied with the proportions on this one. Still I have to make some parts smaller for easier transportation. Feet are really huge on this one.

Where are you getting your yellow foam at? Did you seal it before paint?

foam rubber/EVA foam is abundant here in Philippines because there are factories here who actually produce them to be made in to shoes and Flip flops/Sandals and export to other countries. It can be bought in different thickness and even colors. Colored ones are more expensive though. I sealed the yellow foam with acrylic emulsion. Two coats. The black one I left it unsealed.. but I painted over Black latex as primer color.

Very nice.... Great job man!!

Any pictures of the back of any of your helmets? I'm working on modding one of the toy helmets and it just doesn't seem like it comes down far enough in the back, there's a lot of balaclava visible and I want to fix that, but I don't know what the back of BB's head looks like.
