But I actually DO know where everything is... I was gonna clean it up but I'm expecting parts for another mid-grade. Just mess it up all over again... yeah, I know, but I'm doing JUST ONE MORE!

P1 is done and final coat is drying on the p2. Not as nice as chrisisall's but it's OK.

Well I'm done with the printed one and am still working on the fiberglass. I wasn't as successful at getting the print lines out but overall it is ok. The P1 is fit and now I have to work on the P1 top for this one.

OK, I have the p1 top "almost" ready. Still have to attach the rails and put the nut and screw in the back. Started working on the handle, it's fiberglass as well and had some holes and such that had to be repaired. It will be removable but since there is no light on the p2 there are no batteries in it.

Also it is going to be brush painted. Any advice on type of paint? I already have tons for the p2 body but nothing for the p1. What kind of paint did the originals have on the p1?

Thanks for your suggestion Admiral but I'm thinking of going with an oil based paint rather than an spray on paint this time.
An alternative brush-on color that I have used in the past for Phaser Ones is Tamiya German Grey (XF-63).
I used it on the midgrade builds seen in this thread:
