I wanted to do a version of the phaser like the one sold at the Julien Auction in November for $910,000. The main body is 3D printed in solid resin and has all aluminum parts. Some of the parts were made by hand, some were from eBay. I painted it as close as I could, then weathered it to look like the one in the auction, adding brush strokes and dirtying up the aluminum. I’m pretty happy how it came out.

Great job capturing all those details! This will make for a beautiful display piece ~ (y)

Outstanding work!

The weathering is excellent and very authentic looking.

Certain auction houses would be very proud, indeed! :)
