The room at the 'Days Hotel' is officially booked for the event.

Now it's just getting all the pieces together in preparation.

Just wondering.... aside from artists w/ tables, can anyone attend this show as just a "looker" and maybe a buyer? Is there a fee for them?

Well I think it's understood at this point that there is an admission fee to this event of $20 .
The more people who attend, the more we can lower the price.
But there is some overhead cost for the event.

Since we only have about 30-40 people confirmed attending at this time, it is very difficult to not to charge a fee in order to pay for the event.

Remember, this is not going to be a huge event. It would be great if it turns out that way.

If you bring an item to include in the raffle, you can get $5 off the admission.

Registration
There will be a registration table at the entrance to the event.
This is where admission will be paid(and or negotiated).
This is also where you will receive your admission ticket and your raffle ticket.
You can register a 'name' with their ticket number.

I'm (hopefully) having three friends come as part of an introduction to the hobby. I've told them all they have to pay the entrance fee.

If I had a more reliable car I'd be tempted to drive the 14 hours to get there..

Fee Reductions
In an attempt to attract more people, the general admission price has been lowered to $15. Any additional guests you bring get in for $5 each!

Discounts
An additional $5 discount will be granted to anyone who brings a 'prop' to donate for the raffle.
*1 discount per person*

Raffle & Charity
Along with your 'admission ticket', extra raffle tickets will be available for the prize draw.
All proceeds from raffle tickets will be donated to a charity.

My guests will be coming separately from me as I'm in early to set up. Do they still get the discount or do they have to come with me to get it?

As for buying, selling, & trading I'll have stuff available. Anyone else doing the same? I have a wish list (mostly Star Wars OT stuff) and need to know how much buying I might be doing... If anyone's considering it I'm more than happy to share my wish list!

Yes, they can.
We will have a 'sign in' sheet.
They can say they're with you
and we'll see your name on the list.

Dr_Slurpee will be getting some name tags for us to wear

Yeah, that's something I haven't received much feedback on.

I know of 4-5 people for sure who are bringing props to show.

I don't know how many people are bringing stuff to sell, I wish I did.

Besides myself and Dr_Slurpee, I don't know who else is bring stuff to donate to the raffle. Fortunately we've been able to pull together quite a few items raffle off.

Dr_Slurpee(John) and I have been talking about treating this event like an 'experiment', because really, that's what it'll be.

To date I have such small pieces of 'tentative' info from many, many people, but nothing actually confirmed.

I know a few 'solids' are going to be there(You know who you are), but we're hoping for more than 25 people.

If anyone has questions, this is the time to ask.
