Toronto Prop Party Official Date - June 25th 2011

I hope everyone's ready for tomorrow.

There may be more people bringing stuff to sell than I originally thought, but I'm fine with that.

For those who are driving, you can bring a cooler with some drinks.
We'll be ordering pizzas also.

I'll be posting like CRAZY tonight so keep checking in and asking questions right down to the last minute.

Well, I didn't exactly post like crazy as I thought I would.
Man, I'm exhausted.
Already to go.
We'll see how it goes.

My son and I will be there.
Sorry for the very last minute confirmation.
I'll toss a few things in the car to show as well.
Evil dead chainsaw, and my Rollerball stuff.
Scott

Hey, how are we all going to know each other, will there be nametags ?? lol

Yes, Dr_Slurpee is bringing name tags.

All my stuff is packed and waiting by the door ready to load up.

For those with room to spare, bring an extension cord just in case.

POST PARTY :

Wasn't sure I'd be able to make the party today, with work obligations,
but was glad I did !

Thanks and congratulations to Caveneau for pulling off what others
have rarely been able to accomplish .. a Toronto Prop Party that
actually happened !! I'm sure he put a lot of legwork into renting the
hotel facility and getting everything organized. You are amazing, Sir.

Was great to catch up with Toronto RPF members I don't get to see
often, like Ken/"Talisen", Scott/"Falken108" and meet a few new ones.

Some cool props on display ... but to me, these events are more about
the people.

congratulations to Caveneau

Absolutely! It was great to finally put faces to some names and see the great variety of items that everyone had! Winning the Logan's Run death mask didn't hurt either... :D

There are some very talented folks here and I look forward to the next one!

Not everyone had their alias on their name tags so those who were going to contact me please feel free!

Thanks to everyone for attending.
The support for this event was very strong which definitely helped.

I could not be happier with the turnout.
Any more exhibitors and we wouldn't have had much room left.

I enjoyed speaking with everyone.
So many great stories about your collections.

It was a learning experience for me and I"m totally thrilled with how it turned out. Getting fans/collectors together and seeing everyone talking to each other was exactly the intention.

Ken showing up with the Delorean time machine was fantastic. It was raining a little when Ken showed up, good thing the Delorean's stainless steel.

I'd like to give a special thanks to John Anderson(Dr_Slurpee) for helping out.

I was so impressed with how professional everyone was in every respect, starting from your early arrivals to setup your stuff and your willingness to go out of your ways to attend.

Pics haven't been post yet.
Later today.

Your Carousel mask was a very coveted item.

RPF member 'Orange_blend'(Mike) won the mask.

I didn't get pictures of the raffle prizes, unfortunately it slipped my mind.
Hopefully someone got some shots of them.

A great thanks to Caveneau for heading this up, I think it was a great day and Ken's Time Machine was icing on the cake. Many great props and great people, so glad they came and hopefully more prop parties will mean I can meet more of you!

And of course some photos I took, hopefully more will follow from others! Click to enlarge.

Caveneau great job bud organizing this 'long overdue' Toronto Prop Party. :thumbsup

It was cool to see you all again, and meet some new faces as well.
Top of the line work on display, and getting to sit in the Delorian Time Machine was priceless. Thanks to Ken for letting me and the girls in there.:thumbsup

Let's do it again soon!

Oh, and this pic just screams....

There are 4 Lights!:lol:lol:lol

Wow. Great job everyone. Great diversity. Lots of everything.

If there is not one of these planned in your town, you should get up and do it.

David, thanks for attending despite all the reasons you had not to.

I can't tell you guys how happy it made me to see everyone talking to each other and enjoying themselves.
That was the goal.

David, I have some pictures for you.

This pose in this one just cracks me up; the forlorn eyes everything. Hence the reason I'm nervous when people pose for pics with my masks on. :lol

On the bright side.... I'm quite happy with the way my shoulders are buffin' up from behind. Those military presses are paying off in meat. Not bad for a guy a year shy of 50. :love

He looks like a sad, demented, Teddy Ruxbin.

I really enjoyed talking to everyone, though some I sadly didn't get a chance to talk to much. Was great to see different skills, different collections, and hear about the different interests. I wish there was a prop party every few months, but I'd get pretty worn out! LOL
