Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland Costumes

You mean you did not attend? I assumed you would have gone! Anyway, this makes me even more upset. We asked plenty of workers there if there was an official Alice exhibit and they all directed us to the tea party table.

By the reflection in the pics, these were probably upstairs not in the exhibit hall with the tea party, and not in the "museum" with very few of the over 100 touted props on display bc you were not allowed to take pics in there. The scary men in sunglasses and black suits said so.

No we didn't go...something about my daughter being born...you know the everyday life stuff getting in the way!!! We had tickets but had to sell them to some friends that were D23 holders. I got a lot of pictures back from them but unfortunately a lot of them were not very good.

We ARE booked for 2011! No more kids so it is clear sailing!!! 4 days of non stop Disney costuming F-U-N!!!! I hope to get Battle Gear Hatter done by that day!

New Pin cushion ring and Gloves I just made. The ring is from a DietCoke bottle cap and some pink satin I had laying about.

You're welcome. :). I need to start painting flowers this weekend too.

And Swifty, what exactly are you referring to? If you're speaking about the flowers on the scarf, I plan on painting those with acrylic paints by myself. Need to put my two years of Commercial Art studies to use somehow ;)

Nope, not my hat... it's THE hat... LOL

And just for the record, I'm a girl ;) Just thought I'd mention that since you kept calling me fella.

Great ring pinski ! I'm just happy I was actually able to grab one of the real vintage clover pin cushion rings online while they were still available.

The ring looks nice! Personally, I grabbed the vintage clover ring as well. I can post a link to the sight I got mine from..........it was kind of a "tucked away" sorta site. The shipping was fast, and it seems like they're still available!

I attended :)
There was a small display on the 3rd floor-
Mostly the same as what was in the glass displays at the ElCap for the film.

So who all here is local to southern California that will be joining us for Tea at Disneyland on October 29th? Besides myself and ACME? Skarlett? You are in the southland correct?

Kind of off topic, but has anyone else seen the newest Medicom Mad Hatter? I might have to pre-order one as a present to myself ;)

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, forgive me if it's not. I want to be "teacup alice" for halloween, but I can't really go and spend a bunch of money to make it, just for fun. I've been sewing for years, so it will turn out well, I have no doubt, and it will be quite accurate, so I was wondering if I made two, one for me and one to sell, would anyone be interested in purchasing the other one off of me? I don't want to make it and then be stuck with two dresses. I'd make it to fit whoever wanted it, not premade. Anyone?

I'm currently re-doing the original and will be making the full battle outfit for him as I can't justify spending another $200 for something I'll dismantle and put back together just to get the outfit. :lol Medicom has it's flaws in the costuming but all things considered the first was well done and I'd imagine this one would be just as good. The JD face scuplt on the first is spot on; not sure on this one though.

I am in SoCal :) Sherman Oaks to be more precise-
We haven't picked what date we're going, but we know we want to go on a Tuesday due to traffic from the Valley down to Anaheim.
So I guess that means I won't be there on the 29th :(

On the 31st I'll be in West Hollywood for the annual Halloween street party.
I'm wearing my rabbit hole dress-anyone else going to that bit of fun?

If the D23 Expo is back in Anaheim next year, I'll plan to go now, and hope we can meet up for photos :)
