Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland Costumes

same stuff i use
isnt it wonderful ^^

and hay Savvy why not try that resin stuff that Soul used for his hat pin
according to him its really strong

and if you do figure out how to duplicate them i want some ^^

well we didnt make it its own thread cause we didnt want a ton of moochers

as for the food list
there isn't one

just make or bring something youd find at a tea party
chips, cakes, finger sandwiches. you know, that sort of thing

As far as the TeaParty goes, I am not quite sure what I am bringing but I can tell you it will most likely be a Peach Cobbler.

Padawan, does that mean I am delegated to bring drinks? LOL that's why we need a list! sorry to be bossy, but what if?! You got a 45 (?) piece tea set, who's bringin' the tea?

again, i dont know

but i think Panda and i are bringing Uplekutchen and Tea
the our Red Queen might make tarts

so you know, think of something, i dont know

and Chad i hope you bring Cobbler, that stuff rocks

I'm attending the tea party (provided that once the con schedule finally posts it doesn't conflict with a panel I've said I would attend)
-and I don't know what I'm bringing either :)

I expect that whatever I bring will be something that is ok to be kept in the car all morning, and is store bought-as I'll be arriving in San Diego Wednesday night, and won't be able to bake/cook anything home made.

How many have confirmed they are attending the tea party?
That will help when shopping :)

Back to costuming :)

Yesterday I dyed a shirt for Blue Hatter, using RIT liquid dye in Teal.
The lace for the cuffs came out perfectly, but the shirt is lighter than I had hoped it would be.

Those who have made this version-did you make the shirt from fabric already the correct color, or did you dye a shirt to match?
If you dyed, what shade did you use?

Then for me, after hours and miles, and miles, and miles of tulle, I've made the crinolines for Um!!
There will be another layer of red attached to the bodice (in theory) once I finish making it-
But my fingers hurt today so I'm leaving the bodice for another day.
:)
