I was Just informed that I am one of the top 25 Finalists for the DeviantArt Wonderland Contest, and since all I did was upload pictures of the costumes I've made I'd say thats a pretty big nod to the "you're doing it right so far" direction. Fingers crossed!

Hey guys....I just wanted to put this out there, after finding a size of tiny Mad Hatter boots at Goodwill today, if anyone finds a pair of boots, like size 13's, could they pick them up for me?

Most of evryone has boots already, and I don't know to many people who wear bigger shoes than I do, so keep me in mind, and I can likewise keep the smaller footed members in mind as well!

I need shoes for a Hatter that is about a 9.5-10.

The ones I found today were 7's I beleive, but in the past I've seen some slightly bigger, but still deffintly not big enough for me.

I'll keep evryone in mind if they do me! :lol

Skarlet, just about evrything is considered small when you've got size 13's on. :lol My cousin wears 14's though, we've got the biggest feet in the family. (And you know what they say about dudes with big feet aye? It's a ***** to find shoes! :lol )

EDIT - But I have to say this...I used to wear bigger shoes as well, but I lost weight, and now I fit a smaller size. :lol

i saw your sword in the FIDM Face book pictures
did you make it longer? or no, it sort of looks like you left it the same size
and how did you do the diamond part on the blade and make the knuckle guard? i have an idea for the Diamond, im just curious how you did it. but i just cant figure out that knuckle guard
as for the top, it kind of looks like you used a curtain rod end if in not mistaken

That's what size I wear too, but I also wear an 11 in a woman's size, so for a girl, I have HUGE feet. I've been keeping my eyes peeled for boots at the free store and on my Goodwill shopping trips, so I'll keep everyone in mind! I was happy to help Jodo find some shoes for his Joker costume a few years back

Hey, speaking of which...I also look in the ladies shoes as well....If I ever found a more "fem" version of boots, would you be interested in them? I don't think many dudes would wear them, but I thought mabey you might.

People proboly think I'm frakking crazy when I go to the store. :lol

EDIT - I forgot...I got talking about costumes at church today....And I was asked if I would consider helping put together a float for the Halloween parade. Then I mentioned my MH costume, and my sister's Alice, and then I was asked if I would think about helping to do a AIW float. :lol So...I need ideas people! :lol (Tea party tables and stuff being a given! )
