Man, talk about close, yet so far.
Working on getting my last piece finalized, the patch. I shoot my design to this company, and they come back offering some crappy design that is not only missing half of the elements that I drew up, but half of the wrong colors!

I'm going to have to ask Wayne Brady to go down there & choke a *****. I don't need any delays here. More proof that if you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself.

it was my design and good lord we cant have you condoning anything i make(except my sparrow sash....i know, i know it was a gift but you wear it nonetheless)

i have to say im quite happy with my patch its really really close.
heres a pic next to the original.

i hope your own patch lives up to be everything you want it to be.
or atleast better than the singapore version.
which i know you are capable of.

Well I don't understand why they would send me someone else's design, when I specifically gave them my own.
I deem it mediocre because there is so many inaccuracies. (borrowing Nick's handy picture really quick)

I could start by pointing out how the branch ends just to the right of the top flower, while you've overlooked that. Or mention the more blue-ish tint of the bird, ect, ect.

If you'd wonder why I might not agree with something you've made (or had ordered made), statements like "i'll live with what i got" should be enough to tell you why. If it's not right, it's corrected. If it's not perfect, it's inaccurate. That's how I work. I'm not telling you that you have to live by those rules, I'm just saying that's why I wouldn't use it myself.

And welcome to my home, try not to make too much of a mess.

:lol Charles, I always admire your way of bringing light to the situation.

Some people just love their drama, both he & I know that. The RPF isn't a place for wars, it's for knowledge, discussion & ideas. Ideas are shared, facts are exchanged, knowledge is obtained. One can either learn from the knowledge, or be stubborn to the facts. Drama is created when stubborn ideals clash with knowledge.

The RPF is a wonderful tool. People can choose to use it or be one. And like yourself Charles, I choose to use it.

So how about those "eat me"s above? I think they came out rather nice.
