Several people have guessed it, I am indeed making an X-Wing/T.I.E. Hybrid "Ugly"

I wanted to build a model that nodody else has before in this scale Take in the fact that I had the TIE and extra CC X-Wing parts and I am going for it. Too late to turn back now.

welp, gonna have to move this then, since there was never a studio model of an Ugly. (Using SS parts doesn't make it a SS model. )

New Update. These pictures show the ball has been rounded again. Still needs some touch ups but good enough for effect. You can see the wing mounting brackets cut out of styrene and fitted on the model. I did not put it in the correct place as I wanted it to stay on the model but you can see the general idea how it is going to look.

Lastly I filled in the master for the wing mounts with aves and by tomorrow it should be ready to mold and cast.

Great idea using the Studio Scale parts. So much nicer then building it micro-sized,out of a fine molds model. Next you could do the other Ugly version with an X cockpit and Tie wings.
Looking forward to seeing more pics as you go.
