They shall all drown in lakes of blood...

Nexus6 That is truly mind blowing. I had seen the Marto versions and was fa from impressed. As CTB is my fave film this is beauty to my eyes. Very well done and thanks for sharing.

Hey i know the post is old but what are the round things holding the steel pieces on? Are they special nails?
Sorry, I missed ^this^. When you say "steel pieces" I'm assuming you're referring to the brass straps that are around each end of the hammerhead? The "round things" are called "Turned Half-balls". They're solid brass, & have threaded holes on the flat faces. I drilled holes in the brass strapping, & mounted hollow threaded rod (from the lamp section at the hardware store) in each hole. Then I just screwed the half-balls to each location.

In other news, this is probably one of the only scenarios where I could discuss rods, balls, mounting, holes, & screwing, in a thread on the RPF, & not get banned. :lol

Thanks dude! Since this thread has been bumped from the bowels of the forum, I went ahead & fixed some of the broken pix. :cool:thumbsup

Nexus6!!! That is awesome!! Truly Inspiring! The weathering and finish on it are perfect.....looks like it feel out of the movie screen!

OMG! To call that thing awesome would be an insult! I don't think there is a word for it in existence yet! Holy moley that thing is beyond words! I do think that due to its enormous size that you may need to purchase termite protection for it! Lol

CROM!!!! That's a beast and a thing of beauty.....just superb eye for detail on making that. The look, weathering, everything...just looks like screen used. I'd swear you took the HERO version off the set. :thumbsup

Thanks bro! Now if I can just scrape the $$$ together to purchase one of your multi-awesome 'Father's Sword's', I'll be set!

LOL, as luck would have it, the handle (being cedar wood) is naturally pest resistant, & the head (unknown wood, but treated with creosote) is also sort of covered in that regard.
