There's no way anyone can make this lightsaber...

Hi guys looking at it that would be ok to machine. May be a bit tricky with the clamp part but the rest OK to do.. Just drop me a line if you want it done... :)

Russ,

I could e-mail you the 3D IGES files of all the parts if that'll help you. If you need them laid out in plan views, I could do that if you can't. Let me know.

I love the reflections on it....   :eek

Well, I can't take credit for the reflections - it's the default reflective scene that comes with Autodesk Inventor. :p What would really impress ME is if someone could make out the make, model, and year of the car in the reflection... :D 44444

98 black mazda miata?

thought it to be a boxter, but the taillights (assuming im even looking at what i think is the rear) look just like the last body style miata.

what do i win gabe? :p

great 3D work as always. :D

LOL. Thanks, Ken - sorry, no prize this time because I don't have the answer myself... The reflection only shows up well on a convex surface. I tried flat and concave, but the scene goes out of focus. Here's the best I could capture it, and keep in mind everything is distorted by the curved surface:

It does kinda look Miata-ish, but I have no way to confirm - hopefully this view will help ID some of the car's details better. :p
