The Walking Dead Season 9

I know. Norman Reedus has said in an interview that this finale would be 1000% different that anything we have seen. Maybe it's me, but I've seen boring before!

He was talking about the zombies in the snow I bet, because every single BTS clip I've seen of the finale is all about how everybody has wanted to do frozen walkers, and a big snow storm on the show since the first season.

Yeah, the finale was just another episode. I saw something online, youtube I believe, stating that Angela Kang prefers to have the big climactic stuff happen in the next to last episode, and then have some kind of wrap up episode for the finale. I think that, beyond it going against TWD storytelling tradition, it's just no dang fun. I'm definately of the mind that finale episodes should leave you wanting more and be the most exciting episode of the season.

Where the hell where the Whisperers?
Risking death crossing the street was potentially lethal in Alexandria.
The storm wrote off The Kingdom, making it uninhabitable. They risked death getting to Hilltop.
Whisperers, out in the woods in poor tent shany town, not a pick of snow and apparently no suffering at all.
The hell is going on?
There's no way any of them were in those woods to see them crossing the borders, so what is coming next that Alpha preparing for?

Also, before Rick decided to build that bridge, all 3 locations only ever appeared to be a half hour apart. Now going to Hilltop (even in good weather) appears to be an expedition of massive proportions.

On TD they said the Whisperers migrated south for the winter like birds. Take what you want out of that.

So whats so good they have to go back for? Obviously they found a more hospitable environment.
Non of this makes sense anymore

Weeeellllll, they kinda talked about that, too. They said they were like animals. Animals migrate and then go back to their original turf.

Look, I'm not defending it, I'm just passing on what they said.

Apologies, didnt mean that to sound aurguementative with you. Was more venting about frustrations with the show itself.

So Alexandria is in Virginia (story wise) how far away is hill top and the saviors? Are they all in Virginia too?

They make traveling from place to place look so easy lol

Is it just me, or was it easier prior to the whole bridge story arc?
Seemed like they would turn up at the Sanctuary or Neagan would.be at someones gates on a whim.
I dare say Im forgetting something here.

You and me both, I’m more confused then ever.. I felt like they were all neighbors with a days walk in between them..

I’ve read the average man in good shape can walk 4 miles a day ( day light ) I find this hard to believe. I had to walk home from our town election Monday night. It’s 2-1/4 mile walk to my house and it took me a little over 45 minutes..

I think you could cover 30 miles in a day or close to that if you start from sun set to sun rise

Now it feels like hilltop is days away? Did I miss something?

That's the Game of Thrones approach

Most seasons, episode 9 has been the massive "OMG!" type episode and then episode 10 has been the wrap ups / set-ups for next season

I have currently been going back and doing my second watch of the entire show. I had almost forgotten how much I enjoyed this show.....up until Neegan. I'm almost to the point where he shows up. Just not sure I can stomach a second viewing of those two seasons. ******, EVERYTHING with him was just anal leakage awful! Worst character ever put on television. EVER!!! I have never seen a more cookie cutter, mustache twirling, no depth villain than him. I just wonder how many Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons Jeffrey Dean Morgan had to watch to get the character traits down pat.

Well, the comic book just ended, so I'm sure the show doesn't have much longer.

Hopefully that means Omnibus Volume 4 will be coming out sooner than later. Have the first three already and was wondering why 4 was taking so long. Didn't know they were probably waiting for the series to end first.
