The Walking Dead Season 9

Do you think they intended viewers to punch the air and shout, 'Yesss!' when Henry was revealed as the last head?

I thought it was a pretty emotional impact and I do think Alpha is one of the more competent villains they have had

I just want to know how she got all those people out of the Kingdom without anyone noticing or raising alarms. It's not like she could just ask them to come along nicely

They definitely weren't traveling somewhere since the cutaways made it clear that people were expecting them to be there and not on there way to somewhere else

Maybe there were a lot more Whisperers incognito than Alpha?

My DVR cut off the last 25 minutes o_O!

And that was the best part!

Yeah, that happened because AMC only listed the episode as running until 10:00 PM.

They have screwed around with episode times before. I remember one episode (might have been Fear the Walking Dead) being listed as a 2 hour episode, when actually the entire second hour was for a different show they were pushing. They will also do stuff like list something as a new episode when they are just adding in an extra scene or something

Luckily I DVR Into the Badlands which was listed as an hour and a half long, but really 25 minutess of it was the end of the walking dead episode

So who all had their head on a pike? Henry was really the only main character, correct?

And if you plopped a head on a pike, wouldn't it stab the brain thereby killing the zombie?

besides Henry, the "main" characters that I think affected people the most were Tara and Enid. Tammy has been in more episodes recently. I could care less about the other two teens. The Highwaymen leader was kind of a cool character as well, but he was a throw away anyway along with the other two guys but Tara and Enid...

... those two were the "oh no" ones for me

Not if it is just from the neck down.

Also, I just realized the lady playing Alpha (Samantha Morton) was also the voice of Ruby on Max and Ruby.

There is something really creepy about that now

Dude! Mine did the same exact thing too!! Right after the theater scene

Are you xfinity?

xfinity/verizon, I don't think it mattered. AMC reported the show as only running for 1 hour ending at 10 instead of the full run time

They listed the show afterwards (Into The Badlands ) as running for 1.5 hours starting at 10:00

So anyone who DVR Into The Badlands would have seen the last 25 minutes of the Walking Dead before it when watching the recording

Aahhh that’s why then! I was wondering why it cut off

Good call on eliminating Tara, Enid and Henry were a shocker though. Should have explained how they were all lured away.... One of the better episodes this season for sure. Hopefully Negan will become a new leader. No one else left has the fortitude or balls to be an effective one.
